Franco Battiato left us a few days ago and we all feel a little orphaned and saddened.
Singer-songwriter, composer, musician, director, painter, Battiato leaves an unbridgeable void in the Italian and international cultural and musical world. His music, capable of touching people’s heartstrings, will always be an immense gift for all of us, a precious ‘permanent center of gravity’.
On The Pond we have listened to Battiato’s music several times and even today Ocarina wants to greet him with one of his most famous songs, with which he celebrates universal love: La Cura
